Day 6 - Kingscote to Glenelg Beach

Penneshaw, Cape Jervis, Glenelg

sunny 30 °C

Today we drove to Penneshaw and then went to Frenchmans Rock. Frenchmans Rock is a rock with writing on it. I walked in the grass and it had been raining, so it was all muddy! After that we caught the ferry to Cape Jervis. On the ferry I had a pie and a doughnut. Soon after that we drove to Glenelg which is where our hotel is. Our hotel is called Stamford Grand Adelaide, it has a pool, a bar, a cafe, a lot of rooms, a car park and lots, lots more. Then we got ready to go to the beach. At that time we meet one of my Dad's best friend's wife, Vicky. Mum and Vicky went to have a coffee and Dad and I went to the beach. At the beach we paddled in the water and it was so clear! Then Vicky left and we walked over the wharf and saw a man fishing. The man caught a squid!
